“It was a better-than-average experience but the place could use some updating. The bathtub/shower experience was complicated due to old plumbing, and the floors were creaky. Due to close proximity to other rooms, guest movement was loud. The local commuter train was VERY loud (late at night and early in the morning), so my sleep quality was very poor. “We stayed here for a week during a move. It’s next to the HQ, so kept very nice, and although unclear how much is attributable to visiting Marriott personnel, is quite happening in the lobby! We did the suite, with access to the M Lounge, and would recommend both. Staff was pleasant and exceptional throughout; there was also a fairly expansive gym (by hotel standards) that was hardly being used. Seventh State is one of the best places in Bethesda for a drink or a meal. ”
