“This place far, far exceeded my expectations. This place was super roomy with all the comfort of home plus. The setting was magnificent and I couldn’t believe that the little dock house had a foldout twin bed, fridge, ac, and heat-the perfect place for that teen in the group that seeks their separate space! While we were in the area for a sad occasion, this place more than helped us feel comfy away from home. The owner was super responsive and as we found out how sensitive the smoke alarms were……

“The Commodore Bed and Breakfast is a quaint historical home with unique decor, comfy seating, antique fixtures and a friendly host. The home seems to be under restoration efforts but did not impact our visit in anyway. The grounds are well kept and offer sweet photo moments. There was a well maintained pool, but we did not use due to time. With a short 10 minute walk is the attractive town square with a few eating options. Bars and boutique and antique shopping. Our host was friendly and……

“Overall was good. Thought it had a ramp and didnt so a little disappointed but the ramp is right down the road and the boat lift is awesome really helped having it. It is tiny but could easily fit 3 guys for a long weekend. In a good spot out of the way and great spot on the canal. Definitely coming back!”
