“The Wakulla Retreat house was an excellent rental. My dog was entered in an event at North Florida Fair grounds and it was perfectly located for an easy 15 minute drive. House was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Fenced yard was great for my pet and the place was quite and peaceful. Bird feeders were fun to watch. Carolyn was a perfect hostess and let us know anything in the area we needed to know about. Less than a half hour from the beach, Wakulla Springs or St. Marks NWR. ……

“The cottage was very clean on the inside and is decorated nicely. The bathrooms and kitchen are very nicely updated! The house is not large but accommodated our party of 6 very well. We also hosted a graduation luncheon for 11 people and it worked fine, though there is not a dining table. Ray, the owner, was very responsive to our messages with questions and needs. The only suggestion is that the porch and dock area could use a good power washing/cleaning. Overall, I would recommend this……

“This property does not look as desirable as the photos show. Very old and needs lots of attention before it should be rented. ”

“This cottage was so cute and clean! We were in Tallahassee for our daughter’s graduation from FSU and this was perfect. It was about 30 minutes outside of town which was great with 2 colleges graduating at the same time and the city jammed up with people.”
