“We spent a long weekend at the farmhouse and absolutely adored it. The house is well-appointed and well-maintained, especially for a house from 1768. We were happy that the heat worked well—it was very cold outside—and enjoyed the hot tub and grill outside despite the snow. The kitchen had everything we needed to make multi-course dinners, the wifi worked well to stream movies, the linens were soft, and there was plentiful firewood for the stove. “We had a nice visit to this beautiful, waterfront home, and appreciated the host very much. The views from the beach were lovely. Unfortunately, we were woken several times overnight one night by ships’ foghorns as they passed by- every few hours. Even the white noise machines (a thoughtful touch) didn’t help.
