“We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again. ”

“We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.”

“This place was great! I loved that there is access to a recreation center with a pool, games, basketball court, and small playground just 2 miles away. It’s great for kids. The cabin was comfortable, loved that there is AC and heat. The driveway may be a little steep but not necessarily a negative. I loved that there was a loft with 4 twin size beds, games, air hockey, and tv lounge area. The area feels peaceful; however, you’re not too isolated. I would and plan on staying here again! ”

“We stayed here for a long weekend, a group of girls from our family. Games, cooking, baking, puzzles, laughs, so much wonderful time together. The home offered so many spaces to be together but also to break apart into small groups or have alone time. Plenty of sleeping space. AC worked amazing. Kitchen super updated and so large! Deck table was fun to hang out at. Near town and grocery - loved going to Placerville downtown for a few hours and also Blue Barn Provisions - both close to home.……
