“Simple but beautiful accommodations, room very clean. Loved that the mini bar is complimentary and the balcony overlooking the water was so peaceful! Their outside beach/bar area is amazing. The only bad experience we had was at the hotel restaurant. We had a reservation for a special pop up dinner and not only were we ignored by the staff for 15 minutes, it took over an hour to seat us and then we had to flag down a waiter after 20 minutes just sitting at our table to get a drink. “It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”
