“We are from MN - Colorado and Bear Cub Lodge was our first trip to the mountains with the kids, and this place took our breath away. The kids (13,15,17) explored the large area surrounding the house and would disappear for a couple hours at a time. That’s what I wanted! - To see them make an adventure out of the rocks, hilly landscape, and then come home to play some ping pong, foosball, and end the night in the hot tub. As far as a stocked kitchen - if they don’t have it, you don’t need it.……

“This place has everything we are looking for in a quiet Colorado vacation in August. During the day we hiked the trails, explored nearby towns, watched the wildlife (deer, pronghorn, birds). In the evenings we either ate in town or cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The night skies are so dark that we could even see the Milky Way. We plan be back again next year.”

“Our family had a great stay at this stunning log cabin. It is located in a private area with tons of frequent wildlife sightings. The owners were very responsive and friendly! The home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The space was immaculate, and the towels were notably soft—a small but appreciated touch. The pool table was a huge hit, too. Don’t miss Lake George Cafe. Their biscuit breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon rolls were delicious! Overall, we highly recommend……

“Wow!!!! Our family had the most amazing and wonderful stay at Mountain Lodge! The setting is absolutely beautiful! It was quiet and peaceful. The hosts thought of everything! Plenty of bedding, kitchen necessities, games, washer, dryer, towels, toiletries, etc. Wonderful screened in porch, wrap around deck (we were able to do some star gazing on our last night!) playground, & a play room for the kiddos (& adults too!) We thoroughly enjoyed the billiard table in the great room!! We could all be……

“This place was fantastic! The owners went above and beyond to accomadate my family. They even bought us lunch because they were doing some renovations to their property and needed to work on our room. I ran a 100 mile race and finished it and the Owners bought us pizza as well. They have a beautiful mountain property with a lake and horses, volleyball and basketball and pool. Just an incredible stay and we will be back for sure! ”
