“Very nice view. Hotel is in good condition. Room was ok for the price, although the TV was not working properly. AC seemed to have only one low temperature setting and the blanket was way too thin to be comfortable in the night. The food at the restaurant needs to improve a lot. Very greasy food. Given that the hotel is far from the city and there are no nearby food options, hotel restaurant needs to offer better quality food. Oil was dripping from some of the food offered! “It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax.”

“We stayed in this hotel for three days while we explored Kandy. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful serene. There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds.”
