“The view from the hotel is amazing. The room was clean, decorated in a modern style with balcony. We ordered dinner before going to Esala Perehera and finally back to the hotel around 10:30pm. We were tired, hungry and afraid that the restaurant may has closed, but we were welcomed by the staff and they started to cook for us which was really delicious! ”

“Hard to be critical as the Hotel is 'under new Management' as of November 2018 and understandably there will be some teething problems. The potential for the place is massive. A lovely building with a (potentially) very nice garden, river view, games room/lounge/bar area, and a location on the outskirts of the centre of town allowing easy access to the sights. However, some of the furnishings are a little dated and some of the facilities were not fully functional when we stayed mid-November. The……

“Worst experience ever, I booked and paid online but when I reached the property they said they let someone else to stay and can't make them leave, so asked me to go and find different property for that night and ask me to come back and stay next day, my family and kids all are left in the street.
