“We enjoyed this fabulous home in December to celebrate a family friendly 40th birthday. The house had plenty of room, beautiful views and all the amenities. We had four families-each adult couple had their own room on the main floors and the children all fit perfectly in the nicely finished basement. There were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the necessities. We also enjoyed the nearby local breweries/restaurants that had lots of room for our big group. ”

“My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay here. We took advantage of all the amenities—the pizza oven, projector screen, and sauna. The hot tub was tricky to heat up and took about 5 hours to get to 85 degrees, felt like a warm bath on a January night.”

“Great experience and will definitely come back. Good communication with the owners, and they were super nice - they shared their farm fresh eggs with us. So we were all set for breakfast! The property itself was really nice. It was just the right size for a couple and it had a grill which was a plus. There’s lots to do on the property - boating, hiking, and our favorite was feeding the animals. For hiking, I recommend the Jack’s Jaunt trail. It’s also close to Charlottesville so that’s a……

“The property was spotless, check-in a breeze and location perfect for peace & quiet. Although the weather was not ideal (in part due to hurricane Helene further south), we took time to visit near and far locations: Luray Caverns (wow!!), Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and Richmond museums. Thank you to George and Kathleen. ”

“The property needed a cleaning on the inside… cobwebs and overall dust. It seemed that no one had stayed in a while and was left as is. We had to ask the owner for washcloths because they were not provided with towels. WiFi was working half the time and was Roku so limited to watch anything. We will not stay here again but it could be a sweet place if adjusted.”
