“Our stay at Private Cove was amazing! We loved the home’s layout which included a first floor master suite and great office space for those of us who had to work during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Lake Anna is a beautiful lake and the family enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing off the dock. The host did a great job communicating and responding to our questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend Private Cove if you’re looking for that perfect spot on Lake Anna. ”

“The property was beautiful and Trevor is an excellent host. Everything was very clean and with clear instruction. We came during a heavy snow and were able to enjoy a winter wonderland retreat -Trevor even assisted us getting in and out with our small vehicle. The snowy woods, along with the fire pit, hot tub, sauna and pizza oven made for a beautiful and memorable experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone that wishes to enjoy a splendid tiny home getaway. ”

“This house had everything you could ask for and more!We rented it to celebrate my daughter’s 40th birthday and it was perfect. The house and decks were immaculate. There was so much to do. We paid to have the pool heated and it was enjoyed by all.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Stayed here for a night on a road trip and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Beautiful area, very homey and welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious homemade quiche, along with other continental choices. Heidi was the inn keeper during my stay and she was an excellent hostess. Would stay again!”

“This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,……

“During my stay at the VRBO rental, I found the house to be cozy and the outdoor space lovely and relaxing. The kitchen and BBQ grill were a plus. However, there were a few hiccups. The Wi-Fi was spotty, which made staying connected a bit tricky. The kitchen was not equipped with a set of steak or sharp knives, nor were there dish towels or cloths to clean up dirty dishes. “Great stay in Troy. Easy to get in and the rooms/beds were very good. Did not realize there were two locations on the same property/house. It was ok, because there were not other tenants but it would have been weird. May consider an option to separate the rental better?”

“My family and I spent Thanksgiving with the cousin nearby and we needed overflow lodging. This place was beyond our expectations. It truly was a luxury experience and everyone had their own bed and bath and privacy and lots of space and lots of gathering time. We actually extended our stay by a day because it was so comfortable.”
