“My family booked this stay for Easter Weekend for our first trip to New Orleans. The location was great. Far enough out of the city to get the local vibe, but close enough to drive or take the street car. It was quiet and felt safe.We found some great restaurants nearby - kids like Italian so the Venezia and Angelo Brocato (famous gelato) were a hit. For a Creole option Neyow’s was also great. “We loved staying in this vintage home with a charming Victorian-style décor. The Mid-City location really could not be beat, and the on-street parking was very helpful as we came and went. When we didn’t want to drive, the streetcar right out front was fun as always, and made it simple to go to the French Quarter or restaurants in the area. We had a large group so we rented both floors (reachable by both outside and inside stairs through separate entrances, so very private). Both were clean……
