“We stayed here for six days. It is a cute apartment with access to the water and lake views. The only problem with the place was the severely sloped ceiling in the bedroom and the tiny end tables. I hit my head several times trying to go to bed. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The deck outside was nice with a gas grill. My dog loved it so much she did want to leave- I had to carry her to the car! The area around the lake was fun to explore, especially the breweries and wineries.……

“The house has a lot of character, is very unique, quirky and eccentric. It was a little too old fashioned/crammed for our taste, but our children loved it and thought it was magical! We knew what to expect from the photos – so not complaining ;) Check-in was easy. The biggest advantage of the house is the wonderful direct lakeside location, the view, the sunsets. The beach is a little rough but you have it to yourself, the water is clean and very clear on calm days. We enjoyed the garden,……

“This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). The cottage was clean. I was surprised at how spacious it was. Loads of room to crash about, for those that want/need privacy -there is space for……

“We liked that the house had 3 seperate bedrooms and 2 baths, it gave us the space we needed for personal time but had nice living spaces and a fire pit for family time. ”

“This property was wonderful. We had a little issue on the first day but the owner took care of it right away and even gave us use of the Suite at no extra charge for the weekend for our inconvenience. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is absolutely no water pressure. Showers were quite a challenge. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Overall, I think this was a great place to stay. My only complaints were that the stairs are very shallow and you had to walk sideways on them. Was tough for my elderly mother. Also some of the chairs were unstable and upstairs shower is extremely small and not suitable for large people. That being said, the house was very clean and very charming. It had everything we needed. The owner was very available. I would recommend. Best for 4 people. ”
