“This is a very cool property rich in history with an awesome view directly on Lake Erie. We stayed an entire month & it was very accommodating for long term stays. We stayed in the large 2 bedroom apartment upstairs. There is also a smaller 1 bedroom apartment upstairs which we saw and was very cool as well. “The house has a lot of character, is very unique, quirky and eccentric. It was a little too old fashioned/crammed for our taste, but our children loved it and thought it was magical! We knew what to expect from the photos – so not complaining ;) Check-in was easy. The biggest advantage of the house is the wonderful direct lakeside location, the view, the sunsets. The beach is a little rough but you have it to yourself, the water is clean and very clear on calm days. We enjoyed the garden,……

“The kitchen was amazing and was so nice to host my family a few nights and have the cooking space!! There was a list of things to do upon entering which was great (I’m a local but moved long time ago) The only downside was the beds. They are very hard and I had to lay on pillows for some sort of relief. It was very disappointing as we drove there and we’re out on adventures everyday and would have preferred to sleep in better comfort. ”
