“The room is steps from the beach, true. The path to the beach is through other's property and is littered with their stuff. The room is also steps from a busy road. The room is very small, and while cooled by the window unit, is still humid and very much like a basement. There is no way to get fresh air into the space. The kitchen is hot because the refrigerator and hot water heater(!) take up much of the space and all of the air in the room. Both large appliances are plugged into the wall……

“The apartment was so cute, clean, and nice soft beds. Lovely kitchen and appliances. The apartment was all over a 10/10 recommend. However, there must be some septic system issues as there was road work/septic work being done directly at the opening of the parking lot to the apartments/units. Parking was a nightmare as the spaces are far too close. I rented a car for this trip, the mirrors were dinged and scratched, which could potentially cost me more money in the long run, but is out of my……

“Lots of hair conditioner and not even one drop of shampoo or bar of soap. )) Windows better not to open, otherwise will struggle to close them. Washer is leaking after it completes wash cycle. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom towels are shredding and thin. Dishwasher gets the run offs from the sink and if you run a load it washes with the runoffs. Have to rinse the dishes after the dishwasher completes the cycle. Overall it is "ok" to stay.”

“The property owner never sent the entry code for us to enter the property. We contacted him numerous times, never getting a response. We were traveling with two kids, both under 2. VRBO was useless to helping resolve the issue. After numerous hours, the property manager finally called. He did not apologize or appear to even care. Thanks to his unprofessional behavior we missed our dinner reservations and had two children who were very upset. Once we got into the house, it was filthy.……

“I arrived early and the property is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I'm going 5 stars for cleanliness, based on the pictures. I was traveling alone with my kids. There were panhandlers outside upon my arrival. Parking was also very limited. My SUV couldn't fit through the tiny lot. I was concerned enough to just leave and stay much further out with family. I contacted the owner to cancel, but I never heard back. $400 lost. :-(”
