“The property is the gem here. Beautiful grounds that I walked every morning. Gorgeous river setting. I sat on the tree swing everyday reading and listening to the many birds and the wind in the trees. So peaceful and relaxing. It’s a quick drive into Culver for nearby restaurants and groceries. Lovely to drive the back roads. The house is dated as expected but very clean and comfortable beds. The weather was super hot and humid but the AC kept us cool. “We needed a quick overnight stay while visiting our daughter at nearby Culver. At only 10-11 minutes from the academy, the location was very convenient. This above-the-garage apartment is beautifully appointed, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed plus more. The owners were really sweet and responsive. My only suggestion would be to send check-in information through the VRBO app in addition to the text that is sent, as that text to me got lost in the airwaves :) so I was clueless……

“The place was clean, decently set up, and in a convenient location. However, the key pad never seemed to unlock for us with pin so I guess they had to do remotely, as I know you can't control others who stay, the couple staying in the upper portion had a knockdown drag or screaming, jumping around very loudly one of the nights. Just wanted to warn others. We could hear pretty much every time they were even just walking to the bathroom, so the fight was incredibly loud. Very obnoxious when……

“Our stay here was wonderful!! It is a beautiful space. I love antiques charm- this place had it all. Beautiful wood, comfy furniture. Our host even left snacks and drinks for us! It was quiet and comfortable. Communication was great and check-in was super easy. I wish we were able to get there early enough to enjoy the restaurant downstairs. You would never even know it is there- quiet and no smell of food in the apartment. I absolutely plan to book again either for a ND game or a……

“Very nice! We enjoyed this well decorated and extremely clean home. The kitchen was very well appointed, everything we needed was available. The bathroom was modern and the shower was huge! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the ceiling fans appreciated. We will plan on staying at the Stone Lake Getaway in the future. We stayed at this rental from Thursday to Monday. Using the paddle boards was very fun and we were happy that the weather permitted.”
