“Our stay was lovely! The views are beautiful and the cabin was comfortable and clean. The only downside was that we had to bring a bit more than we expected - bed sheets, shampoo, body soap, bath towels, etc. The dock did not match what was shown in the listing. Thank you to the hosts for a memorable and fun weekend at the lake!”

“The home has a lot of charm and character. The beds were quite comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. The only downside was the BBQ was quite dirty. We spent some time cleaning it but ultimately decided to cook our dinner in the oven. Other than that, 10/10.”

“The boat house had great views of the lake from every room. The lake was clean but cold, which did not stop the kids from jumping in repeatedly from the dock. The fishing was fun and the boat traffic was minimal. We would definitely stay again. ”

“After driving past Pheasants, a Turkey Vulture, deer and 3 turkeys we arrived at Woodpecker and our collective bodies relaxed as our smiles went up Been wanting to get away, unplug and enjoy lake living and we sure as heck did Having our own dock with SUPs and a kayak at our disposal, as well as that view, we were at a want of nothing. Rented a pontoon boat for a day of cruising around then back to Woodpecker for BBQ, Bday cake and gifts Here we are 3 days out from our stay and we are still……

“We just spent four days there with our family and best friends. We loved being right on the lake! The property owners and on-site property. Managers are absolutely awesome! So thoughtful for their communication and productivity. Sitting out on the balcony in the evening is dreamy. There are beautiful, white light strong all throughout the trees, and the view of the lake is stunning. The house is older, but has been upgraded. It is a Lakehouse, so I imagine that people to come and stay there……

“It was very nice but we did have some problems.1.Key safe on front wall very hard to operate; took some time to get open, then it was impossible to put the key back in, I had to leave it not completely secured.2.No grill pan for oven and no instructions on use.3. No instructions on outdoor gas grill, May have been low on gas; the flames were barely there.All the rest of the cabin was very nice .I would visit again if the upgrades and other things were fixed.
