“The stay was very good. We were in the area for a softball tournament and it fit our families needs very well. The goodies on the table were a nice touch and being able to use some of the refrigerator items helped. I would recommend this house to anybody staying in the area.”

“This is the perfect location for a beautiful and serene vacation. We enjoyed eating on the deck with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The beach is quiet and sandy which makes for a wonderful morning and evening walk. We were so thankful to be able to bring our dog with us. The cottage was clean and had an upNorth feel. My husband and sons enjoyed a few games of pool in the basement. We would definitely rent here again. ”

“This was the most charming cabin in the woods. This cabin doesn't just allow dogs, they treasure animals. Everything you could want for your pet was already there and available for use. There is also a seasonal sand road next to the cabin that is perfect for walking dogs. For humans, the screened in porch was the surprise delight. What a joy it was to sit on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. We would stay there again without……

“The cottage was very cute and comfortable with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the private beach and the lovely lake view. We had some trouble with the key not working, but the owner was very responsive and helped us figure it out, even though it was very late at night! Be aware that unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you will be carrying all your belongings up 2 flights of deck stairs or up a very steep drive. This would not be good for someone with bad knees - unless you have 4 wheel drive……

“The primary stand out for this home was it's central location for Harbor Springs and Petoskey and the beeches they have the offer! We had a large group with multiple little ones. The bedrooms offer plenty of space for everyone and the main level was wide open and laid out perfectly to allow adults to relax while kids could spread out and play. ”

“John and Dianne are wonderful hosts. We ve returned for 4 years running. The cabin is simple and clean. Pet friendly which is why we return. Little things like -the mints and the Coffee / simple kitchen provisions well stocked. The little outer room lets us keep the bikes out of the weather. Close enough for a day over the bridge --and a simple drive to H. Springs or over to Petoskey. We LOVE the Petoskey Brewery and the North West Bike trail. Chances are very good we'll be back.”
