“Owl Moon and Foresta are such gems. Located within the park, you can spend the day in the valley, and have a fully equipped cabin to return to at the end of the day. Comfortable beds, two full bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and AC - what more could you ask for?! WiFi is just enough to check email, but not enough for working or streaming Netflix (too bad ). The power did go out while we were there, which the owner says is not unexpected. The cabin has flashlights in every room and water in……

“We stayed at this property with our adult children during a family vacation. It was clean and comfortable, and it was great to be able to stay inside the park. A couple of things we weren’t aware of (these did not impact my rating, just FYI for others). The property is around 2000 ft higher than Yosemite Valley, which means more snow in winter/spring. We were unable to get one of our cars up the driveway during a late winter storm. It is steep and has a hole at the bottom, which made traction……

“We travel often and we came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We went to Yosemite park and then back to the property in the evenings. We had originally had plans to go to a fine dining restaurant and we loved the property so much that we stayed and enjoyed dinner outside and watched the sunset both nights. It was incredible. “We found the place a bit dated, stair railing was shaky and balcony felt a little unsafe in places. But overall it worked well for our family. We had the space we needed. Big plus was clean bathrooms in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms needed better lighting and one bedroom badly needed the broken blinds in the door replaced. We slept well and ate well the time we were there. We spent most of our time down in the valley. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. A few tweaks would go a long……

“Had a great stay with our kids (15 & 10). Plenty of meals al fresco on the deck where we caught sights of some exciting wildlife! Board games in the evening. You never know what you will get in terms of kitchen equipment but this place was well-equipped. We made simple meals and could have expanded our menu if we had known that it was this well equipped. Nice having the second bathroom upstairs for the kids and a full-size washer & dryer. I had not stayed at a Vacasa property before, but……
