“It was great staying at this house! There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids, and there were plenty of room for everyone to relax, cook, and eat. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and even some spices, tea, and coffee. The bathrooms were amazingly clean and showers had great water pressure and warmed up quickly. It was a great place to chill after a long day at the valley. ”

“The location of the house cannot be beat. However, we had to call the management company three times in our four night stay (broken microwave, fireplace ignitor broken, and front light out.) On every cooking pot and knife there was some leftover food. My son found a rat sticky trap under his bed. This was accompanied by a stuffed toy and a remote control for a fan. The main light in the kitchen did not work and at this point we had tired of calling management, so just put up with a little light……

“A truly hidden gem. This location was so cental to our stay in Yosemite. Half way to every where. The place was so quite, inside and ourside, just great. Six of us stayed and it was perfect, lots of room and privacy. Could always find a place to get together or just find some privacy.”

“Excellent location. Spacious, open floor plan. Upstairs has a cool windowed area that lets you see all around the property. Kitchen is stocked with the common stuff. Plenty of blankets and towels. We had 7 (3 kids 4 adults) and two bathrooms were a bit of a challenge sometimes, but not overly so. Drive times are ~15-20 minutes to valley floor, Glacier Point, and Mariposa Grove depending on park traffic. A few things to note that would further improve the property. 1) The couch cushions in the……

“The house was a great place to stay for a family. The view was beautiful and the location was great. It was 30 min to the village, glacier point and Sequoia trees. The only struggle was going up the steep hill to park at the house. ”

“This modern clean house is the closest you can get to the park without being in it. Make sure you pick up groceries or what you need before arriving because the only road takes you back to the park. It was so close to Yosef village. We came in from the South Gate. It is an hour and 20 minutes drive to the big attractions. This house is right there and it is great!!”

“Wonderful 5-day family stay at Stoneoaks. Clean and functional mountain house. Great park access from Yosemite West. Super roomy for our family of 5 (we left one room with two beds empty). Only minor inconveniences (trouble with grill and DVD player).”
