“We chose to stay in a more rural area to get away this year. It was definitely rural. There are just a few places by the house but we didn’t see anyone. There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed. ”

“Beautiful view, several open spaces for family time, large bedrooms, clean bathrooms, great water pressure and up to date appliances. Firepit with sidewalk entrance to home. Extra refrigerator/freezer in the attached garage. ”

“This house was just as advertised. It is beautiful. There is plenty of room, lots of places to sit and relax, and the long dining table is great! We gathered there regularly.Theresa is amazingly quick to answer any questions or provide information and very pleasant to communicate with. Check-in was a breeze.We found great hiking paths nearby and the catch & release lake right on the property got a visit from one person in the family every morning, long before the rest of us were awake.We got……

“We recently did a family/girls trip to this lake home and we had the best time. We had beautiful weather and was able to enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and just sitting on the back deck taking in the breathtaking view and reminiscing on our younger years. The lake home itself was very roomy and clean. The owners supplied everything and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely return.”

“We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable and the outside deck/yard are perfect for hosting BBQ and sitting around the fire. The marina and boat launch were convenient and just a few minutes away from the house which quick and easy lake access to launch the boat and get the lake days started! Our stay was excellent! “We visited during HS spring break which was a historically rainy time but was a welcomed get away with family. The place is located in a great location to enjoy the water, weather permitting. The house was very clean upon arrival helping make us feel welcomed. The screened in back porch is great to watch nature regardless of the weather. Upon recommendation of the host, we ate at Little Dave’s pizza which was great. Their menu is large enough to accommodate anyone. The dam is a very short drive……
