“We recently did a family/girls trip to this lake home and we had the best time. We had beautiful weather and was able to enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and just sitting on the back deck taking in the breathtaking view and reminiscing on our younger years. The lake home itself was very roomy and clean. The owners supplied everything and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely return.”

“We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable and the outside deck/yard are perfect for hosting BBQ and sitting around the fire. The marina and boat launch were convenient and just a few minutes away from the house which quick and easy lake access to launch the boat and get the lake days started! Our stay was excellent! “We visited during HS spring break which was a historically rainy time but was a welcomed get away with family. The place is located in a great location to enjoy the water, weather permitting. The house was very clean upon arrival helping make us feel welcomed. The screened in back porch is great to watch nature regardless of the weather. Upon recommendation of the host, we ate at Little Dave’s pizza which was great. Their menu is large enough to accommodate anyone. The dam is a very short drive……

The building is ok from the outside, but the location bites. The path to the lake is blocked by a large dead tree. “The house is lovely. Plenty of space to be comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake. Only drawback is that you can't get to the water. The firepit is on a pretty good hill, we couldn't us it because one of our guests couldn't manage the slope of the hill. Still a nice feature to offer. The hostess left muffins for us to eat, delicious. Check in and check out I had to contact the hostess, we never received our instructions. But they were quick to respond and it wasn't a major issue. “I don’t even know where to begin because it’s absolutely an awesome place to stay. It was so clean, comfortable, and the Evans family were welcoming, friendly, and always available if needed. Our stay at The Porch Lovers Paradise will always remain in our hearts. The porch was great for hosting a cookout with my family in honor of my mom who recently passed away. There was plenty of room for us to hangout on the porch and spend quality time together. The beds were extremely comfortable. ……

We took just a weekend away to attend a Taylor swift event for my daughter and the place really met our needs, everything was as it was advertised and nice location, it’s a wooded area so be okay with nature, which was exactly what we wanted, we would definitely book again! ”
