“Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! ”

“This cottage was perfect for me and my two friends, though it seems like it'd be ideal for families too with the three decent sized bedrooms, full kitchen and large living area. I was a little skeptical of the small-seeming stove at first, but it got the whole place nice and toasty in no time! I really enjoyed the private location... something I didn't see in this area for a similar price range. “This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. The easy drive to Burlington was also a plus. Overall this is……

“We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. ”
