“Prior to arrival, I emphasized not wanting to drive a steep road to the house and the company said it wasn't steep. When you arrive to an arrow and squiggly line, most understand that is a steep road with big curves. I wasn't thrilled about that since it was only me and my child. However, I'm a huge scaredy cat about roads like that and many people would likely not take issue with it. The only other complaint would be the ac worked but the house never felt refreshingly cool, not even in the……

“We spent three fabulous days here in June/July 2024. The property itself is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Communication with the owner was very smooth. The location is ideal for exploring the Shenandoah area and we enjoyed driving the Skyline Drive, a visit to Luray caverns and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. We came back in the evenings to eat out on the deck followed by relaxing in the hot tub and watching the spectacular sunsets. Very special memories made, totally recommended.”

“Wonderful cabin in the woods near Shenandoah NP. It was lovely to hear the birds in the morning. The porch is a wonderful place for coffee. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and check in was easy. Be sure to plan ahead food wise, there aren’t restaurants or stores nearby. This was a wonderful retreat!”

“We rented this home for our annual college friend get together. Comfortable for a large group with 4 kids, ages 2-4. Hosts were very generous and helpful and let us check in early. The only suggestion, which is minor, would be for some way for the couch sectionals to attach together as we had to push them together constantly for our kids as they would fall between the seats. Thanks for a great stay! ”
