“The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay……

“This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes.”

“The washhouse was great! It was very clean and just as advertised. My family had a great time and it was better than we could have planned. Trisha and Derrick were wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay with them in the future. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay at The Loriann! This charming 1940’s boutique home was everything we hoped for and more. “The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville. ”

“We had an amazing time. Hot tub was great, so were all the beds- even the bunks were large and comfy. The house had everything we needed for fun, comfort, and ease. I would stay again for sure. Close to everything as well. Hosts very responsive.”
