“Outstanding location right on the beach. Clean, very few people, no public access, clean sand, clean water. It’s like a North Carolina beach without the salt and the traffic. We will definitely be back. And our dog loved the beach and the cabin. A Experience!”

“We rented the Loon Lodge over the Labor Day weekend to celebrate my husband's first days of retirement. Loon Lodge is an adorable 658 sqft cottage but the open layout doesn't feel small at all, and the best part is that it's pet friendly! It is tastefully decorated with the bedroom and bathroom seems to have been recently updated. The screened in porch gave us spectacular sunset views each evening. “If you are looking for a house on the beach, this house is it! Lake Huron is literally in the backyard. Stunning views from the large windows in very spacious living room and dining area. After spending the day at the beach we spent our evenings on the back patio and bonfire area taking in the views of the lake. Both matresses on the on pull out couch and bedroom were really comfy. House was very clean. We had no issues or complaints at all! We had such an amazing stay during our trip. We will……

Oscoda has some nice restuarants and great beaches...and lots of cool sites just south in Tawas. Able to cook dinner and enjoy the deck over-looking the river. Wish we would have brought some kayaks or canoes!!”
