“We had a great stay! The cottage was exactly like the pictures showed, very cute and updated. Lake Huron was just outside our door. We had some spectacular sun rises and sunsets! We were there for leaf peeping and would love to return in the summer time. ”

“Our family throughly enjoyed, the laid back peaceful atmosphere the cottage gave. Every morning we we're able to see right from the back door the beautiful sunrise. 90% of our time was spent just sitting down by the water. Perfect little get away, before our son starts college and our daughter goes back to school. Definitely would love to rent it again in tje fut.”

“We had a great time at our stay on Hubbard Lake. The owner lives right across the street so he is there if you need anything but never once made us feel as if we were being watched. I have stayed elsewhere where we felt as if the owner watched us the entire stay. This was not the case here! We had a great time. If I had to be picky and complain about something I would say it can get a little warm in the cabins with no ac but it was over 90 our entire stay. Also, the parking is very limited.”

“Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,……

“The cottage is lovely - reminding me of one my Great Aunt owned on the South Shore. Warm, inviting, the hosts were extremely helpful and easy to reach when necessary. So many amenities to choose from and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely rent this location again. ”

“Did not know there would be no bath towels or sheets on the bed , Had to drive into Alpena 30 min away to but towels wash cloth and sheets , was not happy about that”
