“We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage. ”

“Our family throughly enjoyed, the laid back peaceful atmosphere the cottage gave. Every morning we we're able to see right from the back door the beautiful sunrise. 90% of our time was spent just sitting down by the water. Perfect little get away, before our son starts college and our daughter goes back to school. Definitely would love to rent it again in tje fut.”

“We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head……

I have managed rental properties so I am familiar with the issues that might come along with a property. Other than the dock not being usable - this home gets an A. The home provides everything a family might need. Having nice accommodations increases the enjoyment of a vacation. ”
