“Our stay was exactly what my wife and I needed. We were celebrating our second anniversary a little late and needed a quiet and peaceful place to escape our hectic lives. We live about an hour away but staying here was a complete switch from our fast paced suburban lifestyle. It took us both back to our youth on family farms. “Our family stayed at this house for the 4th of July weekend and we had the best time. The house was fully stocked and clean, but the pool was our favorite part! Shannon was accommodating and super easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend staying here! ”

“The house was a very nice place to stay. The country side is beautiful and the cows were fun to see on the property. House was very clean and the manager responded quickly when contacted. Only issue was there was only one tv in the house and it was broken during our entire stay. ”

“Had a great time staying here! House is beautiful, decorated like a true farm house. Great to see the farm history on the walls as well. My kids loved waking up to the cows and horses. Highlight was definitely feeding the horses treats! Great loaction if you are going bourbon tasting. Highly recommend. ”

“The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended.”

Loved that we were away from the town so we could truly enjoy the quiet, but close enough to Stanford, Danville, and Lancaster that we weren’t driving the entire time.
