“Our stay was wonderful! The property was very clean and the owners thought of everything. We were visiting Ky to go to the horse races and visit some bourbon distilleries. We wish we would have had the time to stay another day and enjoyed the property more.”

Comfortable beds, clean home and bathrooms, great kitchen, solid Internet, a great sized living / dining area and the pool is in great shape. “We planned a trip to central KY with friends and had a number of great destinations to go and visit. Little did we know that our home base at The Farmhouse turned out to be one of the best destinations of them all. It was simply perfect. Beautiful, relaxing, and charming surroundings on a beautiful working farm with horses, cattle, and some of the bustle on the farm with the hard working Tatum family. “The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended.”

“We enjoyed a few days away at this property. Be aware, this unit is on the second floor. There is a stair lift which was a blessing. If you need it, make arrangements in advance. It has an updated kitchen area and even a dishwasher. Also, the outside grill is charcoal, which was provided. The bed was large and comfy.”
