“The views from the outdoor seating area are top notch. Looking out across the sound every night at sunset was the perfect way to end the day. This was the perfect spot for our stay. Birds and deer every morning in the yard and on our way off and on the island as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip everything was perfect. ”

“The boat was very inviting, clean and equipped with a nice coffee press, plush towels and plenty of dishware for a relaxing stay.The boat presented very well and had comfortable beds and linens for a sound and rejuvenating sleep.The location was ideal with parking onsite and plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries nearby within walking distance.I look forward to return visits in the near future, this as the Shamrockin is a special place.”

“Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I……

“If I could give it more stars, I would. This lovely cottage is clean and comfortable and offers everything you need to enjoy a waterfront experience. The views are spectacular and we saw all kinds of wildlife right from the deck. An eagle, otters, seals, dolphins, herons and more. Amazing. We hope to return someday.”

“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……
