“The Lanai and Bedroom was a good overnight stay. Clean and exactly what we were looking for. Location was not great. But we knew that when we booked. We did find a great restaurant in Pahoa Village. About a 5 minute drive from the property. ”

“It's obvious Sue and Chad put time and effort in making the house and grounds beautiful. The house was equipped with everything we needed to cook, and just relax and enjoy the surroundings. All you hear are the birds and crashing waves, no road sounds. I spent every possible minute outside. It was also a treat to visit with Sue, she knows a wealth of information on the area and is just plain fun! With any luck, we'll be back again!”

“The unit is located about 15 minutes drive out from the center of Hilo and the bay, up the hillsides in a quiet neighborhood that achieved an almost rural feeling, as if at the edge of the countryside. It is seemed quite spacious, had beautiful light morning and afternoon / evening, and was nicely furnished. The shower and bathroom were terrific. Its air conditioning worked well. “The Jungalow is cute and convenient. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. My 3 year old loved the chickens! We were fortunate that we were able to see the volcano erupt and loved being close enough that we could go to Volcano Park during the day and again at night. ”

“Beautiful respite in the rainforest just a few minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. We loved the huge green tree ferns and the flowers surrounding the property, giving it a private fantasy feeling, just like the pictures on the website. We loved the jacuzzi amongst the moss and ferns. We enjoyed the sounds of the many frogs and birds.”
