“I loved staying in this little cottage! The main house is close by but that didn’t detract from the peacefulness. It’s decorated super cutely, the bed was comfy and has everything you need for a stay close to the national park. Opening the big doors next to the bed makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest - surrounded by vegetation with birds chirping. ”

“The cottage was actually better than expected! Great location right near the park entrance and in a secluded and beautiful jungle neighborhood. The cottage was super clean and very well stocked. There were lots of small details that made it feel very welcoming and very well cared for. Our family of 4 was very comfortable there. Would very happily stay again!”

“Was an amazing location and places. Made me feel connect with the outside. Very quiet in terms of human activity(traffic,neighborhood). Enjoyed the sound of the birds around the property. Close to the national park if you wanting to do some hiking or catch an eruption. ”

“A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! ”

“Truly a delightful experience. I was having work done on my home, so we stayed here for two weeks of fun! It was tranquil, clean, comfortable. A nice bathtub with plenty of toiletries. You may not see it in the pics, but they provide all the kitchen appliances/flatware you might need. Lots of lush greenery right up against the lava rock fields right up against the ocean. Plenty to explore. The WiFi was awesome. We were able to run both our VR headsets at the same time, I was able to work……

“We had a wonderful stay at La Cappana. The historic cabin is in a fantastic location in Volcano town right near the Kilauea Lodge with its fantastic restaurant and the Swap Meet at the community center, and a quick and easy drive to the best of Volcano National Park. Even though it is so close to everything Volcano has to offer, the property feels very private with lots of native plants and trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds with our morning coffees We had an added bonus of visiting……
