“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”

“We stay at the hotel once a year as a treat. It’s such a unique and friendly hotel with fantastic staff. It’s a very old hotel but they keep it updated but somethings like not having walk in showers might put some off as the shower is a curtain around the bath but that just adds to the charm for us. Chester is a lovely place to visit and the hotel is in a great location. ”

“Travelling from York, so was a stop over before hitting Wales. Hey, it was a nice place to stay. The room was incredible (although for me, I'd change the carpet on the staircase to room 9. Visually, very tricky!!) Check in was quick and easy. The only thing I'd point out, and it is nit picking, I think the staff need to be more 'that's no problem, we'll sort that out' as opposed to 'we'll see what we can do,' ... Yeah, I've worked in customer service for 40 + years blah blah... and we all……
