“Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Close enough to Alpena that you can experience some of what a city has to offer, far enough away that you have peace and quiet. The kayaks got put to use on the river and everything that we could need had been thought of. Plenty of dishes to use. Plenty of chairs to sit by the fire. Plenty of firewood to burn. Check-in was stress-free. We met the host for a quick tour and they were available via text if we had any need. Cell reception in the area was spotty,……

“We had a great time at the lake cottage. Everything was as listed and in good condition. We were looking for a quiet place on a lake and that is exactly what we got. We really loved the added bonus of the little boat and trolling motor. We were able to get around the entire lake on a single battery charge. We made sure to bring a paddle just in case.
