“From the moment we arrived, the cabin was welcoming - clean, organized, all the items we needed for cooking and serving, feel at home decor. A great set up outside, as well. The location is a nice short drive into Alpena and the surrounding area. A beautiful view across the lake, including a wonderful view of the sunrise. And nicely quiet. We highly recommend this rental. Great communication with the host (quick responses and wanted to make sure our stay went well). We will be talking about this……

“We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend @ Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. The layout of the home is perfect. The kitchen is at least a 4 person working kitchen so that was great. The additional dining space was a plus. Due to inclement weather, we ended up having a great 'game day/night' at the table. It was enough for 6 people. The levels of decking was a bonus as was the boat house play room. It was nice having a long dock at we brought two fishing boats along with us. You won't regret renting this……

“Excellent location. Walkable to everything. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Much more than we expected. Main floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Basement has 4th bedroom and bath, pool table and gathering space. kitchen stocked with new pots, pans, dishes and silverware. ”

“Enjoyed our stay, the bed in the robin room was a little uncomfortable since it dipped down in the middle. Breakfast every morning was outstanding. We definitely recommend this place.”
