“My husband and I brought my 65 year old parents to London and stayed at the flat. This was our first time using VRBO and David was super easy to work with to make sure we were all set. The flat itself was right by a Main Street with shops and restaurants so made it super easy to get groceries. We walked to Hyde Park (15-20 minutes at slower pace) a couple of times and then grabbed an uber when we were too tired. The neighbourhood was really clean and felt safe. “Right in the middle of Notting Hill & Portobello Market. Definitely noisy, and you can hear the stalls being set up in the morning, but it's worth it to be so close to everything. Great pubs, restaurants, and shopping out the front door.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very spacious property, towels and bedding very fresh. The surrounding areas had excellent bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. There are also many shops close by. The only negative to this property in our opinion was the lack of seating in the lounge. The settee pictured on the website is not in the property, instead a settee which we couldn’t use as too low down, we just sat the dining table (not ideal). There was not enough comfortable seating for the……

“Clean, as described in listing. 3.5 bathrooms helped getting our group of 5 adults and a teen out the door to make our booked tours. Excellent Indian and Georgian restaurants nearby. Host was quick to respond to any questions we had.”

“Overall great, and the book of informations and manuals was tremendously well laid out and helpful. Amenities (spices, basic food stuffs, plus shampoo, conditioner and body wash) were abundant and good quality. The stairs in the unit are steep and narrow. Getting larger luggage up and down was a true challenge and even dangerous. . In addition, two of our party tripped going from one bedroom to the other. Decks are lovely! ”

“Our family had a fantastic time! The location is outstanding with ready access to restaurants, shopping and all modes of transportation. The unit itself was impeccable and a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!”

“Very smart property. My bed was super comfortable and sheets crisp and clean. I thought there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. Bathroom needed more of a deeper clean like there was a huge dusty cobweb above the blind. We noticed lots of little flies in th kitchen area, but maybe they came in when the patio door was open… overall it was very nice. Communication with the management was excellent”

“This house is old world charm meets modern luxury. Every comfort, including heated floors, heated towel racks and even a wine fridge. Beautifully decorated and a short two block walk tot he train. Simply perfect! The owners greeted us with fresh flowers, and Easter chocolates and hot cross buns for the kids. ”

“地理位置方便，性價比超高！鄰近地鐵站，去不同倫敦市區景點都很近、很方便。酒店工作人員很熱情，會主動介紹酒店的設施。房內設有電磁爐和微波混合焗爐，覺得出外進食很貴的話，可以自己買回去煮食(房內亦有杯、碟、鑊等)。這點感覺更像民宿。不喜歡房內煮食，還可以將食材帶到樓下的公眾大廳煮食，下面還有咖啡機和小型的商店可買零食(雖然我不飲咖啡、零食暫時未買過)。1樓還有洗衣和乾衣房，不想自己洗衣服可以考慮使用。居住5天期間，不會有人執拾房間，不過可以掛牌出去叫人倒垃圾，這點要留意！不過我之前亦覺得一般酒店每天有人進房收拾，感覺不太自在，沒有人進來收拾我反而挺喜歡。酒店附近有便利店和小型超市，Amazon Fresh沒有人手櫃位，必須使用信用卡或Apple Pay等電子支付，而且付款全程自助式，不想要單據的話，商品都不用逐件取出來，Tap & Go即可。不過我對這個付款模式十分不安心，所以自己跑去自助付款的機(同樣要用電子支付)，將每年商品掃瞄一次，再付錢，這種方式會有紙質單據，Tap & Go沒有。總括而言，Vertus Edit的體驗非常好，性價比超高，下次再有機會來倫敦，會考慮這間酒店！”

Be careful if you are sensitive to noise.

"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily. Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
