“A beautiful pub and inn with a gorgeous beer garden next to the sounds of a babbling brook. The room was full of character and spacious enough for the three of us, but as it is an old building, we could hear the other guests walking and talking the floor above us. “Quiet place to maximise rest. ”

“I was really pleased with the accommodation, and found it really nice. I was dropped off, so did not require the parking which was directly outside and free. The room was comfortable, breakfast bits provided and the shower facilities although not ensuite were at hand and served me well. I would stay again.”

“Was a very convenient location with parking which was a bonus. Room was clean and adequate.”

“Super place to stay when visiting London, home from home vibe rather than hotel vibe. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, very clean and with everything we needed for a nice stay. The bed was really comfortable too.”

The host is very nice gentleman, who checked us in in the evening, and provided delicious breakfast, we opted for the continental and the croissant is excellent! “The hotel's proximity to public transport (Nine Elms and Vauxhall) was advantageous. The room was adequately sized and clean; the king-size bed was comfortable, though the single bed was not. Breakfast was substantial and satisfying. Michelle provided excellent and attentive service. However, I wish to bring two matters to the owner's attention. Be careful if you are sensitive to noise.

"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily. Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
