“Excellent Stay. Was as pictured. Very clean and organized. Hosts were excellent. They were very friendly, helpful, polite, and responsive. The house and property is great for pets too. Also, a very quiet and safe area.The property was beautiful. It stormed the first day and the water was not accessible. It was amazing how different a storm on the Potomac makes the environment. “The water views are beyond picture-perfect. The owners clearly put great care into providing every amenity you could think of! The home is clean, beautifully decorated, and the views from inside are simply unbeatable. Step outside onto expansive decking, enjoy the fantastic hot tub, stroll down to the private beach, or relax by the dock - it’s all incredible. “My friends booked a last minute staycation to catch up in one place. This place had all the amenities to bring groceries and hunker down for the weekend. The grounds were gorgeous and all the home spaces were cozy. Also, the owner was incredibly communicative before the stay and when we had a few questions during. Plenty of beds and all the amenities with a superb dock and nice water access. We grilled, baked, caught lots of rays and even a few fish and crabs off the dock. Fun family activities close by, too. “This house is beautiful and has everything anyone could ask for. The scenery is spectacular too. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun set, just listening to the water and enjoying a fire on the beach. The kitchen is any cook's dream! The owners are wonderful and communicated with us wonderfully. We would give it a 10 rating if possible and will certainly be back. One of our best vacations!”

“Location is magical. Water views and nature views abound. Porches, open areas, views galore. On a quiet point, with a creek meets river, almost ocean like feel. It is a very special place. All you need-beds are super comfy and attention to details with seating and kitchen are greatly appreciated. Besides older adults, we had age-early 20s cousins that discovered the fun of croquet. We did puzzles, played games and kayaked a lot; explored the creek and braved the ever changing currents and tides……

“We had a wonderful few days at the Little House as part of a longer week exploring VA and WV. The cottage was inviting and well equipped (even Band-Aids!). The property was tranquil with great water views. It was in a secluded area yet a short drive to nearby towns. We enjoyed use of the kayak, relaxing on the porch, and listening to the rain hit the roof on our last night. Rob and the neighbors are welcoming and friendly. ”

“Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately.
