“A great weekend in a great setting. The place was cute and bright, in a quiet neighborhood, and right on the water. We caught & steamed crabs, we sat out on the deck and watched the water, we cooked dinner, saw shooting stars from the hot tub. Kitchen very well stocked with good tools. Dedicated easy parking. Dog loved it. Neighbors were quiet, and also out catching crabs like us. Bald eagles flying around. Plenty of towels. In terms of location, it's an hour from Washington's birthplace, Pope's……

“We had a great week on the river thanks to our fantastic host, Clint. Cottage is a wonderfully thoughtful renovation, set up for lots of fun activities inside and out. Plenty of beds and all the amenities with a superb dock and nice water access. We grilled, baked, caught lots of rays and even a few fish and crabs off the dock. Fun family activities close by, too. Highly recommend!”

“My daughter and her now husband hosted their rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception here. It is absolutely stunning. The views are beautiful and loads of space in the field to set up the tent, tables, and chairs. The house itself is an older costal style, it worked nicely for everyone to get ready in. Everything was clean, had everything we would need, and very cozy. ”

“Very good experience. The location is great with the private beach and dock. The house was very neat and comfortable. The owners were very nice and onboarding was very smooth.”

“Location is magical. Water views and nature views abound. Porches, open areas, views galore. On a quiet point, with a creek meets river, almost ocean like feel. It is a very special place. All you need-beds are super comfy and attention to details with seating and kitchen are greatly appreciated. Besides older adults, we had age-early 20s cousins that discovered the fun of croquet. We did puzzles, played games and kayaked a lot; explored the creek and braved the ever changing currents and tides……

“If you want to wake up in the morning looking at the water, hearing the waves while seeping your coffee this is the place to go! They provide activities like bikes; fishing rods and game boards House is cute with very equipped kitchen. Host was responsive and accommodating. We had a good time!”

“Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately. All of this together made the most pleasurable stay. I highly recommend renting this property. Edyta ”
