“The establishment was great, the lady was awesome at the front desk at check in. My ONLY complaint was at breakfast. First, I was told breakfast was served until 10, we went in thinking we could have breakfast, it was 9:15. The lady in charge of maintaining it was on her phone, we got some eggs and biscuits then she started putting things up. I wanted a pancake, nope, put up. “The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed was extremely nice and I slept like a log. There was plenty of storage space for clothes and the bathroom was big and comfortable. Would recommend staying there to anyone who asks.”

“While the town itself doesn't have much going on and was pretty abandoned, this stay was exactly what I needed. Safe parking, friendly owner, eclectic but clean room, and the most comfortable bed I've stayed in this week, even coming out better than fancy or chain hotels. I think the only thing I would change is possibly requesting that the AC be turned on before I arrive because it was very hot and took a while to cool down, as well as adding a vent to the bathroom to keep the heat and……

“This is a lovely manor, and although signs of age are evident, it appears the owners are working towards complete restoration. It's close to plenty of what Minden has to offer, very convenient to stores, gasoline. I'm here for a church conference and I'm just 3 minutes away. I was able to select what I want for breakfast; hope it's good.”
