“There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again.”

“Great location, convenient public car park out the back of the property. Inside space felt comfortable and fresh and the room was perfectly comfortable. “Great location, it’s a fantastic building, it clearly needs some TLC!! I did stay in a block of rooms that looked like a jail, but the room was of a good standard. Breakfast really wasn’t pleasant, also understaffed, dirty plates everywhere and food was a great standard.
