“Room was immaculate and lots of space we had a luxury room view of the lake from balcony, the grounds are steep to walk to facilities that was are only draw back, the staff definitely took a lot of effort to decorate the grounds for fall it was beautiful, had to call maintenence for a beeping fire alarm, they responded immediately to replace battery, short drive to village which was nice, .”

“The room and closet area were spacious. The beds were comfortable and clean, there's air conditioning, plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a pool. One of the doors to the outside didn't close properly and I found it open one night. Towels and Facecloths had some staining. There's no cleaning service during your stay, if you need extra things, they will give it to you readily at the office. A family place, lots of kids. Hairdryer and clock didn't……

“I have been traveling to Lake George for years as I love the beauty and activities of this area. Normally hotel stays are ok and nothing really wows me. Most need updating. I stayed at the Sundowner and was so pleased with everything! The rooms are updated and are decorated like adorable log cabins inside. The room was spotless and spacious! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a small issue with air conditioning and they sent someone right away to fix it. Kima at reception desk……
