“Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The village was small and quiet, but near enough to larger communities to access grocery needs and such. We needed a few days to stop and rest ... this was exactly what we neeeded. There was a nice living room inside and a really nice covered patio to relax outside. Great!”

“This is a lovely house in a beautiful walled village. The owner met us at the house and even took the time to give us a tour of his wine cellar on our first night. It was a great location for visiting the Rioja region with many places to visit nearby. The house was perfect for three families sharing with teenagers. There were two bars in the village.”

“Excellent accommodation - the house is well presented and full of character. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped. It is in a small village accessed up a winding mountain road. The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander.”

“Hôtel agréable et calme en centre ville. Le personnel est attentif, très beau jardin avec une piscine a débordement en inox. Parking en sous sol payant. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, la chambre avec vu sur la piscine est très agréable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.”

A disappointing experience

"A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!"
