“This property is spacious and just steps away from the heart of downtown Helen, and we walked everywhere on this trip. One caution...the walk into town is mostly downtown, so walking uphill back to the cabin could be problematic for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely return to Delaine's Retreat for another stay!”

“We have stayed in this unit several years now. The condo is extremely well kept and clean. Check in/out is a breeze and the disposables (soap / towels / trashbags) are well stocked. Susan has always been on point with communication. If you are looking for a place in Helen, don't hesitate to stay here!”

“ Spent a lot of time in the rockers on the front porch! Very comfortable and clean cabin. Hot tub was crystal clear and worked well! Would visit again if in the area. Some GREAT hiking spots that were super close to the cabin! ”

“Absolutely amazing property. Secluded, private, very clean! The owner Josh was the absolute best! He answered our questions within minutes. Our grill was missing when we arrived and he had one on our porch within 10 minutes along with charcoal and lighter fluid. We will definitely be returning ”

“Great clean quiet place. Everything as advertised. Would been perfect in a couple of weeks later as the temperature warmed up enough to open the windows at night to really get the sound of the water; but was OK with the windows closed! Had a little problem with the coffee pot(probably our error) but managed and sugar ants in the bathroom sink! WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT RIVER HAUS!!!”

“What a fantastic and peaceful location! This was exactly the sort of getaway we needed! The cabin is perfect for two, with plenty of cozy couches and a giant bed. AC/Heating worked well and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed for minimal cooking.However, there were 2 major issues. 1: the bathroom smelled like pee - especially the shower area. It was so bad, we took the shower curtain down and washed it; That helped a little bit, but clearly the pee had gotten on other things. There was……
