“We visited as a couple for a short getaway and found exactly the breath of fresh air we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, the owner was warm and attentive, and breakfast was beautifully prepared with every detail considered by the owner, Sally. A special thanks to the chef for the delicious omelette. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet couple’s break.”

“Carol and Ceri looked after us very well, beginning with their greeting us at the front door on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and all room facilities excellent (lovely soft towels), except that the bedside lights are not bright enough for old eyes to read by. Breakfasts, prepared by Ceri, were top class; we really looked forward to coming downstairs each morning at 8.30. It was good to be made to feel part of the family, especially as we were able to chat to other guests at the breakfast……

“Pet friendly , lovely enclosed large garden my dog was allowed to use , breakfast served in old pub area really historic & friendly helpful owners . Stayed in hikers number 1 , very clean & modern & everything provided with view of garden , easy to find & local pubs if needed . Hope to return . ”

“I almost dont want to wrkte a review as it will get booked , but this little.gem was fabulous. Great.hosts lovely evening menu the chilli was amazing. The continental breakfast is cute and coffee is large and strong and hot. Super comfy beds and pligs that make sense Parking was accesible Room is gorgeous and really.spacious and comfy Honestly cant rate highly enough Enjoyed it and didnt want to leave ”
