“Our niece's wedding was at Carlos Creek Winery. This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It was very spacious, very clean and lots of amenities. We had a bonfire Saturday night. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“Walking into this place was picturesque. The windows to the lake were beautiful The layout was perfect for a large family and the amenities inside were awesome. ( arcade games, sauna, separate TV room ) Definitely a place we will visit again as our family lives nearby. ”

“We had an enjoyable stay at this property. It was stocked with appropriate basics and felt welcoming. We used the kitchen and dishes, pots/pans and utensils were usable and available. Internet was useable and able to stream a movie. Dock for a couple of fishing boats. Nice composite deck to sit outside. Nice outdoor fire 🔥 area. Can’t control those Minnesota mosquitoes. Nice to have paddle boards available when the wind calmed diwn. ”

“We had a great four day stay at Oaken House! Highly recommend. Very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals for 8. Comfortable beds. The home is in a beautiful setting in the woods where we saw deer wander through the yard. Jack was very flexible to accommodate a late check out. ”

“The house was great and fully stocked ( didn’t need to bring all that I did ) the disappointing thing was the dock area was full of reeds and water was disgusting not at all like picture if we had kids with us they would of never been able to swim or fish off the dock”

“My husband and I, my 3 adult siblings and their spouses, and our parents all gathered here for Thanksgiving week. The location was right on Ottertail Lake, with beautiful sunsets that I'm sure are even more lovely when it's not frozen. The home was well-appointed with wood-burning and gas fireplaces, comfortable couches and beds (some very low to the ground), and stylish furnishings. The large upstairs and smaller downstairs kitchens came in handy for making a big meal. And we enjoyed playing……
