“Check-in took a few minutes as the computer system gave the attendant some problems. They remained friendly throughout and apologized for any inconvenience. This is in a Motel 6 where they're remodeling a portion of it into small studio apartment type rooms that contain a small kitchenette. I stayed in a such a room and it had been recently remodeled. “So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. They offer a free airport shuttle too and from the airport which is quick, clean and the drivers are very friendly. Will certainly be back and plan to use Hampton for any of my hotel stays. ”

“I’ve stayed at this Hilton several times and it’s always a reliable choice. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable with nice pillows, and the deposit isn’t outrageous. I usually book the 2 queen beds. One time I had a smelly fridge, but the staff quickly moved me to another room. Front desk staff are always friendly, and they offer complimentary bottled water.
