Nur der Strand war leider etwas enttäuschend, da er voller Steine war. Unbedingt Wasserschuhe mitnehmen und eine Taucherbrille da das schnorcheln sich hier lohnt.”

“Plus points: Well laid-out hotel. Good spa service, including indoor heated spa pool, gym and jacuzzi for free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink plentiful. Lots of sun loungers. Optional organised sporting activities available like darts, table tennis, beach volleyball. Evening bar entertainment was good. Negatives: Sink blocked in our room. Showers flooded bathroom floor because of a huge gap between screen and wall. Bath water emptied back up out of drain onto bathroom floor!……

“I had a great stay at High Beach Hotel. It was the end of the season (literally - the day I left the place closed for winter). There were not many guests around, but the service was impeccable. I got a room upgrade and enjoyed a beautiful view of the sea. The food was excellent and had a great variety. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the central and eastern parts of the island by car.”
