“This beautiful home was perfect for our big family vacation! We skied in Purgatory and spent time in Durango. “Clean, comfortable and very cute glamping tent was the perfect place to stay in Bayfield. It was well stocked with plates, silverware, towels, etc. The nights were chilly, but they provided two electric space heaters (in addition to the heat pump) which kept it very warm and cozy inside. It did make me a little nervous though, as there were no smoke alarms in the glamping tent. I also wish there were a broom inside, as lots of debris got tracked inside over my 5 day stay. “We booked the Chalet because it seemed like an out of the way, tranquill place, up in the mountains, yet not too far from Durango. And that is exactly what it is. Just a lovely, comfortable little place, with the bonus of a hot tub!! We went to Durango mainly to ride the train and spend some time in the mountains.
