I believe they are owned by locals and that is a plus. I was welcomed with a refreshing lemonade that was delicious. Restaurants and Centro is within walking distance. “Great little hotel in Merida. Well located, a little walk from the plaza Grande. Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants. The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street.
